Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions? Intralox is seeking a talented Test Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team. As part of our growth strategy, we’re committed to delivering superior products and enhancing customer experiences. This role is integral to our Logistic and Material Handling (LMH) division based in Wehl (GLD), focusing on the warehouse and e-commerce postal & parcel industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Innovative Solutions: Design and test conveyance lane systems with advanced technologies, including ARB™ solutions, supporting projects from pre-sales through execution.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Assist with installation, project commissioning, training, and troubleshooting both in-house and in the field.
  • Customer Demonstrations: Ensure professional setup of equipment in-house to demonstrate solutions to customers.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Professionally report outcomes with data analysis and provide performance improvement suggestions.
  • Proactive Communication: Plan and communicate proactively with all stakeholders, reporting work progress, risks, estimations, etc.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams including Sales, Operations, Engineers, Programmers, Project Managers, Assembly, IT, Warehouse personnel, Technical Writers, and installation and commissioning teams.
  • Participate in Design Reviews: Engage in engineering design reviews and other relevant meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-On Experience: Practical experience with mechanical and electrical devices.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Solidworks, and video editing tools (e.g., Camtasia), Demo 3D simulation, or a willingness to learn.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to understand and work from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and apply manufacturer data sheets in practice.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Travel Availability: Willingness to travel (10% to 40%) to meet customers, support installations, commissioning, and conduct training and troubleshooting.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to build successful relationships with teams, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills, project management abilities, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Dynamic Environment: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle deadlines.
  • Energetic and Organized: Energetic, well-organized, team player with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of conveyor constructions and conveyance systems is highly beneficial.
