Intralox is looking for a Technician- Material Manufacturing for the integration department in Hanover, MD. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Field Install personnel have all necessary tools and equipment to complete jobs.
  • Build specialized pallets and crates as needed.
  • Fabricate steel components to support Field Installation and Production teams.
  • Perform continuous improvement efforts in facility to improve productivity.
  • Attend Daily Stand-Up meeting to ensure proper collaboration with team members.
  • Handle general maintenance requests as directed by Field Installation Manager.
  • Safely operate various lift equipment.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Effectively exhibit teamwork and self – management practices.
  • Follow the attendance policy of the Department.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Work overtime flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have stable work history.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with all types of people in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be a “self-managed” individual comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to cross-train in other work centers if/as needed.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to safely work for extended periods of time, well beyond an 8-hour workday.
  • Willing and able to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 76 pounds.
  • Qualified fork lift certification.
  • Ability to read a standard tape measure.
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and fractions).

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior wood working experience.
  • Ability to construct things from scratch.
  • Prior welding experience
