Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a Technical Writer. Long term, this position will be primarily remote with trips to campus as needed per project.

  • Compile and deliver equipment user manuals and design documents as needed.
  • Research technologies, interview SMEs, and work with project managers to deliver quality, accurate technical documentation on schedule.
  • Create and update technical documentation to support the release of new products and product updates.
  • Collaborate with other technical writers to ensure consistency and accuracy of technical documentation.
  • Create and edit photos, illustrations, and other graphics as needed for technical content.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, or related field
  • At least two years’ technical writing experience 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-managed individual who is a team player
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience working with subject matter experts
  • Skilled in managing projects, priorities, and initiatives
  • Ability to provide writing samples
  • Experience working remote

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with DITA XML is preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
