Intralox is seeking a motivated and talented Technical Trainer who excels in the development and delivery of technical programs. You will be a member of the global training team primarily training customer facing employees. The position will be based in the Intralox EMEA Headquarters in Hoofddorp.
What will you do?
- Support internal training needs, including new hire onboarding, cross training, continuous learning, and certification.
- Develop blended learning courses from project kick-off to completion and evaluation.
- Apply instructional design theories and methods to produce and deliver high-quality training (digital, blended, and instructor-led).
- Continuously improve the standards, processes, and deliverables to enhance the effectiveness of the learning experience.
- Understand and assess how training plays a role in business needs identified by product/process audits and performance metrics.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of course content and delivery.
- Lead the preparation and execution of internal systems training, including mechanical, electrical/controls, and maintenance/troubleshooting elements.
Who are you?
- Bachelor degree educated in Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
- At least two (2) years of experience in classroom training, electronic learning, and multimedia programs.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to self-teach and study engineering products and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, production, and engineering employees.
- Ability to work across departments to ensure effective teamwork and motivate personnel to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the training plan.
- Possess knowledge of effective training techniques and curiosity to continuously learn.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-managed with strong attention to detail.
- Able to be flexible about working time to fit business needs and customer requirements.
- Able to travel internationally 4 times per year
