Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services, has a position available for a Technical Trainer. The position requires project management skills and a strong technical aptitude to improve existing and develop new blended learning programs in support of our technical and commercial sales teams. This individual will support sales growth and increasing customer value through training of Intralox’s technologies: modular plastic belting, ThermoDrive, and Activated Roller Belt (ARB) conveyors or equipment applications. This position reports to the Technical Operations Manager.

  • Understands the audience, collaborates with subject matter experts and uses creativity and technology savviness to transform training into a digital, interactive learning experience for employees to learn anytime, anywhere
  • Design and develop new blended learning programs, content, and coursework while providing feedback on learning enhancements
  • Uses well-defined learning objectives to develop storyboards and scripts
  • Applies instructional design theories and methods to produce high-quality instructional graphics, animations, user interfaces and publish to Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Develops creative supporting materials (audio, video, simulations, games, etc.) to enable opportunities for employees to apply learning before, during and after the course
  • Facilitates Train-the-Trainer Sessions to prepare for the delivery of blended learning programs
  • Core member of global blended learning team
  • Program management of global Technical Services Group training programs


  • BS degree in technical field, instructional design, education technology, graphic design, or related area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • High level of technical aptitude
  • Customer service oriented personality and approach
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills including planning, scheduling, leadership and team building
  • Practical and hands on
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively
  • Computer proficiency with demonstrated experience in MS Office Suite
  • Must be able to meet the functional job requirements within industrial environments (such as ability to climb ladders, etc.)
  • Travel requirement 10-20%; global and proactive in nature
  • Position located at Intralox USA headquarters in Harahan, LA
