In this role you will support customers with detailed technical calculations, sizing of equipment and product recommendations to optimize the conveyance of products in the Conditioning Platform (spirals, coolers, tunnels, etc).
You will be a member of the Technical Support Group (TSG), an integral part of Intralox’s service organization, based in The Netherlands. This role can be fulfilled from either the Hoofddorp or Wehl (GLD) facility
What will you do?
Provide support on strategic projects in the Conditioning Platform by
- Performing detailed calculations and analysis
- Making industry specific product recommendations
- Reviewing conveyor designs
- Troubleshoot issues in these critical applications by phone or e-mail
- Participate in development and maintenance of tools and documentation (such as calculators, template documents, drawings, etc.) related to the platform
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s Degree in, ideally, mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Experience in technical customer support (remote and/or on-site) is highly desirable
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Service minded; self-managed mentality with a sense of ownership
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and MS Excel
- Advanced communication skills in English. Additional language skills are an advantage
