Technical Support Specialist China
Could you be our new Technical Support Engineer for our conveyance technology covering China and Southeast Asia? Intralox, the world leader in conveying belting solutions, has a position available based out of our Shanghai Commercial Office. As a member of the Technical Support Group (TSG), you will provide first-line, remote technical support both to customers and to the company's customer service and sales departments. You will be able to work in a broad range of industries providing technical support and finding solutions to technically challenging problems. You will be part of a growing and engaged Asia-pacific team that takes pride in their work. What will you do?
- Make industry-specific product recommendations
- Technical evaluations of conveyor systems
- Remote troubleshooting and resolution
- Create and present technical presentations via webcast or other remote technology
- Analyze conveyor design and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide technical training for other employees
- Research & locate technical data
- Create Bill of Materials for projects
Who are you?
- Native Mandarin Chinese and fluent English
- College or University (technical) degree. Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 2+ years experience in an industrial sales/support or industrial equipment specification role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and articulate mechanical concepts
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient with MS Office Applications & Auto CAD
- Ability to manage multiple projects/issues at one time
- Service-minded, team-player, self-managed mentality with a sense of ownership
- Travel is required when necessary
