Our Digital Solutions Group has an opening for a Technical Project Manager.  This role reports directly to the ERP Practice Manager. The Technical Project Manager will work with our New Products Release team and will be responsible for project managing all aspects of the system implementation of new product releases.  This will include Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Performance/Monitoring, and Closure.  

The Project Manager would work in a key project leadership role and will have responsibility and accountability for the successful execution and outcome of our new product releases.

  • Work with delivery team to ensure seamless, on-time release of new products including:
    • Project Requirements gathering workshops 
    • Fit-Gap analysis sessions 
    • To-Be Process Flow development
    • Determining phased breakdowns of complex projects
    • Proof of Concepts (POC) and Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions 
    • Functional and technical specification development 
    • Tests cycles, including unit testing, string testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) 
    • Change request tracking
    • Manage User Training sessions 
    • Cutover planning sessions and cutover tasks 
    • Transition project to long term delivery and support, including Knowledge Transfer 
  • Develop, updates, and maintains RACI document to manage stakeholder engagement
  • Present reports to leadership on progress, problem escalation, key decisions 
  • Implement and manage organizational change management (OCM) 
  • Evaluate and assess results of project (Post-Mortem) 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business
  • Proven IT track record with minimum of 10 years of experience in technology field
  • At least 5-10 years of experience leading technical projects; experience liaising with business and technical teams
  • Experience in manufacturing industry preferred 
  • Proven knowledge and skillset in Oracle EBS preferred  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines, simultaneously
  • Experience and expertise of Agile / Scrum methodology 
  • Principled thinking with eye towards simplification and continuous improvement 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with IT/DS and business team members 
  • Strong management and leadership capability 
  • Experience leading diverse teams, including members from global business departments
  • Customer-focused mindset 
  • Proficient in MS Project / Project Management Software 
  • PMP (PMI) certification is a plus
