Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for aligning Supply Chain purchasing actions with ATO Production Team. 
  • Develop relationships with key leaders on the manufacturing floor.
  • Attend daily production meetings with pertinent updated information.
  • Understand and communicate supply issues to production for appropriate actions.  Responsible for complete and actionable execution of Emergency Allocations – daily engagement with ATO Scheduling to ensure Purchasing – Planning alignment.
  • Monitor Supplier Management Analyst (SMA) and Buyer Key Productivity Indicants (KPIs); execute root cause analyses of missed targets or sustained changes in performance trends.  Working with the SMAs, Buyers, Sourcing Category Managers and Supply Chain Analyst to implement changes to consistently achieve established targets.
  • Focus on ATO processes affecting Supply Chain and Operations.  Comfortable in challenging established processes.  Map-out opportunities for purchasing process improvement and collaborate with ATO team to drive upstream and downstream improvement.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain’s Oracle Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Cloud superusers to successfully implement SCP Cloud both within and external to the Supply Chain department.
  • Update Purchasing Processes for Inventory Parts Work Instructions.  Ensure SMAs and Buyers are consistently executing processes from quotation to receipt (into Oracle). 

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • At least three (3) years procurement and supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least one (1) year of previous lead or supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience with Oracle ERP.
  • Must be a self-managed, hard-working, self-motivated individual.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
