  • Lead supplier quality assurance (SQA) and supplier development (SD) function, accountable for delivering the SQA/SD strategic vision for current and future state.
  • Define and drive SQA and SD Key Performance Indicators and set standards for supplier performance monitoring and control.
  • Manage supplier risk assessment process ensuring supplier quality issues, by leading complex negotiations to resolve issues and escalate as needed.
  • Support re-sourcing and de-sourcing activity to support sourcing quality strategies or fixing quality and/or service performance.
  • Set strategy and policy for supplier selection and qualification (including Supplier Manual, AQL sampling, APQP, SCAR, Quality Business Review & Score Card, Accountability) and supplier audit.
  • Ensure issues are reported to quality leadership & that solutions are recommended/implemented to help support the continuous quality improvements.
  • Ensure appropriate management of supplier issues, escalation process for critical issues implement effective tools for complete reporting of the total cost of poor quality caused by supplier and drive close loop actions.
  • Work with suppliers to establish and review Intralox supplier quality requirements, standards, production capability, new program launch and complaint resolution systems.
  • Own supplier quality and drive QMS, quality initiatives and programs for supplier engagement and development to long term business partnership.
  • Supervise Supplier Quality Team, coach and mentor supplier quality engineers and indirect resources globally.
  • Support other strategic quality initiatives to achieve business objective and quality organizational goals as assigned.


  • Engineering degree with 15 years of experience with 7 years in supplier/quality transformation leadership role.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast moving highly engineered products manufacturing environment including design and develop activities and outsourced manufacturing, contract manufacturing, etc.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in conveying the needs of all interested parties, including supplier interface, and working with cross functional teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of the core Quality tools, including 8D, Lean Six sigma, Supplier Rating, LPA, Shainin/Red X method, GD&T, etc.
  • Experience in Advanced Quality Planning tool and supplier performance development.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work fast faced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs.  Minitab, Dashboard, Visual Factory, ERP, PLM tools and data bases interactions.
  • Lean six sigma black belt certification and certified supplier/quality auditor a plus.
