Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services has an opening for a highly motivated and self-managed person to work as a Shipping Clerk in the Materials Management group. This position handles orders from packaged shipment to final ship-off. The exact hours may vary depending on coverage needed. Weekend/Holiday, on call duty as well as overtime are possibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter shipment data into carrier systems.
  • Enter and certifying data in internal systems.
  • Attach appropriate documentation to each shipment.
  • Confirm shipment carriers and loading trucks.
  • Participate in end of day system closeouts.
  • Assemble and box material.
  • Safely operate various lift equipment.
  • Palletize equipment for shipment.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required.
  • Exhibit teamwork and self management.
  • Follow the attendance policy of the Department.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Previous experience operating lift equipment, including forklift.
  • Stable work history.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Must be a team player that exhibits self management practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift 66 pounds.
  • Willing and able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Willing and able to work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with freight carrier systems and packaging.
  • Qualified fork lift certification.
  • Previous experience with Oracle.
