Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services has an opening for a highly motivated and self-managed person to work as a Shipping Scheduler in the Materials Management group. This position handles scheduling, forecasting, and organizing upcoming shipments. The exact hours may vary depending on coverage needed. Weekend/Holiday, on call duty as well as overtime are possibilities.

  • Forecast daily, weekly, and monthly trucking scheduling to shipping team based on production and project schedules
  • Work with shipping team to ensure execution of the schedule daily
  • Schedule and coordinate shipments with freight carriers
  • Ensure proper documentation and data management for shipping
  • Research shipping quotes among carriers to determine best possible shipping solution
  • Attend daily meetings to provide daily, weekly, and monthly shipping updates
  • Address field installation team inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Effectively participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution for shipping related issues
  • Follow the attendance policy of the Department
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies while in the warehouse
  • Work flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of experience reading and writing bills of lading, booking and scheduling trucks, or related shipping experience.
  • At least one (1) year of experience operating lift equipment, including forklift.
  • Basic computer skills and proficient in Excel/SmartSheets
  • Experience using freight carrier systems
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description

  • Ability to adjust to a fast pace environment and solve last minute shipping requests

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a dispatcher or transportation clerk
  • Qualified forklift certification.
  • Previous Oracle experience.
