Intralox, LLC is seeking a Supervisor to join the ThermoDrive Quality Team. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating quality activities within the ThermoDrive Operations and Extrusion areas, ensuring alignment with the Quality Leadership Team's vision.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise the daily activities of the Thermodrive Quality Technical team in our Harahan, LA, and Twinsburg, OH manufacturing plants
• Oversee Global Assembly Operations quality in tandem with local management and supervision
• Work with the Quality leadership team to define the goals and priorities for the Intralox Quality team
• Develop the product and process knowledge and continually improve the work performance of the quality engineers, specialists, technicians and inspectors
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of quality specifications, control plans, statistical methods of process control, inspection and testing methodologies, and the Quality procedures for Thermodrive manufacturing
• Help select and implement appropriate advanced technologies for the inspection and data collection of quality data
• Monitor the quality data for opportunities for improvement, and take action to uncover root cause and implement appropriate and effective corrective actions
• Build and maintain an audit program that ensures compliance to the quality system processes and procedures
• Ensure that specifications, standard processes, and operations are being maintained and that due care in the manufacture of the product is being sustained
• Drive continuous improvement as outlined in the Laitram Business Philosophy and Quality team practices

Requirements:
• Combination of a bachelor’s degree or higher education in a technical field (fields of mechanics, information technology, mathematics, science, management, etc.) and 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing quality environment or extrusion OR 7+ years of work experience in a manufacturing quality environment or extrusion molding
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required
• Possess a technical mindset or an engineering mindset and related problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in basic and advanced computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SigmaXL, MiniTab, InfinityQS, etc.)
• Advanced understanding of the following: quality concepts, quality tools, probability, statistics, engineering processes, best practices in quality assurance and control, and change management
• Ability to transfer knowledge well, and simplify complexity when communicating on all levels
• Must be extremely organized, detail oriented with a high attention to accuracy and details and can handle multiple tasks
• Possess the ability to work with all departments to ensure effective teamwork, to maintain proper equipment, and motivate personnel to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the system
• Demonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision
• Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills, specifically in the area of root cause detection and the implementation of effective corrective actions
• Proven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgment
• Ability to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationships

Preferred Qualifications:
• Up-to-date professional quality certifications (ASQ, QAI, CSSC, etc.)
• Prior supervisory or Lead experience in a manufacturing facility
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, polymer, or industrial engineering
