Intralox, LLC is currently seeking a Project Manager for the New Product Development Team in New Orleans. This individual will be primarily responsible for managing projects through Intralox’s product development process- from ideation to fielded solutions. 

This Project Manager will be working with driven and talented people across multiple departments.  For a person to be successful in this role, they need to be highly motivated to learn new things, bring strong organization skills, enjoy navigating complexity and demonstrate a wide degree of creativity.

Responsibilities: 
  • Accountable for successful completion of project deliverables and required project management documentation 
  • Ability to manage projects with large development scope including many interdependencies
  • Dynamic and thoughtful communication as the primary point of contact across multiple teams including project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project teams by understanding who needs to know what, and when
  • Transparently lead multiple active projects to achieve objectives
  • Consistently identify and eliminate project issues and bottlenecks while anticipating and diffusing project risks
  • Ability to navigate both the “big picture” space and dig into the project level details to solve problems
  • Coordinate resources across multiple departments with input from other functional managers
  • Define and refine process improvements and act as a change agent for successful adoption of new ideas and processes 
Requirements:
  • B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years managing projects, preferably in new product development and/or manufacturing
  • Technically minded, with the ability to grasp and communicate different technical concepts
  • Self-managed with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Talent for processing new information quickly  
  • Strong project management and time management skills including attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task creatively and strategically with proven track record of proactivity and taking initiative to solve problems
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about continuous learning and personal growth
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Future willingness to travel (10%)
  • PMP or formal Project Management training would be nice to have
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies would be nice to have
