Intralox L.L.C. Europe has an opening for an experienced Project Accountant to support our growing business. The position will be a key member of our Global Equipment Accounting Team and will be based out of either our Wehl or Hoofddorp location.

  • Oversee the financial aspects of project related transactions
  • Work directly with operations teams and project managers on process improvements and issue resolution
  • Participate and sometimes lead, recurring meetings with various departments, with constant awareness of accounting impacts
  • Review contracts and determine application of accounting policy under US GAAP
  • Booking costs for large projects based on percentage of completion revenue recognition
  • Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes including analysis of variances and margins
  • Support to improve the gathering and preparation of financial reporting on department spending, project costing, analysis of costs (products, parts, suppliers, project types etc.) and recommendations for improvements in the business profitability
  • Assist with creation/maintenance of internal controls and internal process documentation to mitigate risk
  • Support interim/annual audits
  • Participate on special projects as necessary (system improvements/business initiatives)
  • Prepare reporting for internal processes
Requirements and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related study, with minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Solid understanding of project accounting principles
  • Problem solving mindset, ability to simplify
  • Proven work experience in manufacturing industry highly preferred
  • Inventory accounting experience
  • Experience with Oracle EBS preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI or other analytical tools
  • Strong communication skills. Mastery of the Dutch and English language
  • Able to collaborate with a multi-department team
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic understanding of European indirect taxes
  • Be able to travel regularly between Wehl and Amsterdam locations to stay connected with Operations and Accounting teams
