Responsibilities:

·           Executes effective and efficient scheduling

·           Releases all work orders to ensure on-time completion and to maximize operational efficiency meeting published service levels

·           Responds timely to requests for expedited customer orders and large project lead time quotations

·           Coordinates with upstream functions (Engineering, Sourcing, Plastics, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Machine Shop) for feasibility of product offerings and ensures component/finished goods availability

·           Coordinates the resolution of product offering issues real-time

·           Actively participates with continuous improvement efforts with an emphasis on operational efficiency opportunities

  • Continuously seeks ways to improve capacity planning, scheduling, order data entry, and department/production floor communications
  • Serves in a backup role for routine modular plastic belt maintenance needs

Requirements:

  • Customer service oriented personality and approach
  • Ability to shift priorities in a fast paced, demanding business environment
  • Hands on approach to issue resolution in production
  • Must possess a high level of urgency in order to support Intralox's high service levels and operational efficiency goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, practical experience / open to new ideas to get to a solution.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Self-managed and a team player
  • Willing to work overtime as required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Office Products

Desired Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering/Technology (or other related field)
  • Oracle ERP experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • APICS or Lean certification
  • MRP knowledge in the areas of production scheduling, inventory management, procurement, and capacity planning
