The Production Manager ensures the efficient management of assembly operations in order to produce high-quality products in a safe work environment. 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Execute sound strategies to efficiently achieve company objectives of delivering reliable, on-time, quality products.
  • Direct supervision of the Assembly Build
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Identify and resolve issues timely
  • Drive operational improvements that increase customer value 
  • Monitor the performance of Assembly Build, report on performance measures, and establish corrective action plans to meet goals.  
  • Build effective teams by fostering communication and creating a positive work environment within team and with other work groups.
  • Connects and cooperates well with other assembly plants and the Intralox operations departments like supply chain and IT.

Requirements: 
  • Knowledge and proven 5 to 7 years’ experience managing fast flowing production/ assembly operations
  • Ability to motivate and manage a large team with strong people skills using PIP progression.
  • Must have drive & demonstrate Continuous Improvement with a proven history of achieving results
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with production personnel and leadership 
  • Demonstrated problem solving and issue resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities 
  • Strong computer skills  
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines.

Desirable:
  • Knowledge/practice of Quality management initiatives                   
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
  • Experience with managing large teams
