Intralox is currently seeking a Process Engineer to bring new innovations to our plastic extrusion and injection molding processes at our Twinsburg, Ohio location. The successful candidate will be a leader in new process development, problem solving, and mentoring of production personnel.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new extrusion and injection molding processes using scientific principles
- Document changes to processes and equipment using change management system
- Release robust, repeatable processes to Production
- Participate in cross departmental teams to improve safety, quality, efficiency and overall productivity
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis of product quality issues and equipment failures - Develop robust, repeatable solutions to prevent reoccurrences
- Provide technical training and assistance to Production’s technical staff (processors and operators) focusing on scientific injection extrusion/molding techniques and troubleshooting skills
- Monitor and validate existing processes, equipment and tooling to develop and execute continuous improvement opportunities
- Accountable for the identification of risks, technical options value propositions, and championing of solutions
- Collaborate with Production, Facilities and Maintenance to provide an optimal building environment conducive to operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Plastics Engineering, focused on extrusion
- Understanding of root cause analysis methodologies
- Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving solutions through the use of tools like DOE, 8-D, or Six Sigma disciplines/methodologies.
- Superior extrusion and/or injection molding process development and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of parts prints, inspection procedures, and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Must possess ability to work with a team
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and relationship management skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite 365 and Smartsheet
- Relocation to the greater Cleveland area
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Plastics Engineering
- Experience in rubber composite processing
- Lean manufacturing certification and/or formal training in the area of Lean Manufacturing
- Can train others in root cause analysis methodologies
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Solidworks and/or Pro-Engineer)
