Intralox, located in Harahan and Hammond, LA., has an exciting opportunity for a Mechatronics Apprenticeship within our 2 state-of-the-art injection molding facilities. These 24/7 manufacturing operations utilize injection molding machines to produce components used in the manufacturing of plastic modular conveyor belts. This apprenticeship program follows a dual training approach in which you will receive a combination of related instruction at local colleges strategically paired with on-the-job training. You earn a paycheck while learning the skills to become a Mechatronic Technician.

The Mechatronics Program

Mechatronics is a combination of skills and knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, electronics, robotics and control systems.

During the 2-year apprenticeship, you will attend six 8-week training sessions in school alternating between our three education providers, i.e. Delgado Community College (Avondale campus), Northshore Technical Community College (Lacombe campus) and Nunez Community College. In between school sessions, you will receive on the job training at Intralox, a division of Laitram, LLC.

The program start date on or about August 1, 2023.
