This position is located at the company innovation & production center in Baltimore, Maryland.  (Adjacent to Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a 30+ person Materials Management Team with the goal of providing On-Time, Accurate, and Complete deliverables to Operations Production and ultimately to our OEM & End User Industrial, Food & Beverage, and E-Commerce Customers.
  • Recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and improve parts flow.
  • Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and access to the material.
  • Ensure the highest levels of Inventory Accuracy and personal accountability.

Requirements

  • 3 + years Managerial/Supervisory experience
  • Manufacturing experience in appropriate capacities.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to navigate different systems & software. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, & Access.
  • Proactive.  Adaptive.  Diligent. Positive Attitude.  High energy.
  • Superior attention to detail. 
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Team player

Physical Requirements

  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work area to another.  Anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 steps per day.
  • Lifting: Occasional, set-the-example leadership-type of lifting materials up to 40 lbs.

Desired Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Specific Materials Management experience, Oracle MRP a plus.
  • Ability to take the team to the next level of efficacy, particularly regarding next-generation ERP/WMS platforms.
