As part of the Intralox Baltimore Operations Team, the Intralox Special Projects Leader will contribute to and execute important processes, develop people, ensure quality, monitor capacity & schedules, and live the Intralox Laitram Continuous Improvement Philosophy.

  • Utilize problem solving skills and knowledge of operations to troubleshoot when necessary and identify process improvements to ensure achievement of overall goals.
  • Help develop instructions for Material Management processes, ensure process quality, monitor parts flow, parts delivery, and Materials Management capacities and live the Intralox LCI philosophy.
  • Works collaboratively with other team members to increase overall productivity.
  • Observe, maintain, coordinate, and complete standard work.
  • Ensure open communication and collaboration.
  • Drive daily and weekly missions.  Effectively coordinate resources to accomplish those missions.
  • Identify skills and knowledge gaps in your team & work with other stakeholders to close those gaps.
  • Follow and enforce the attendance and call-in policy of the department.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, introspection, and resilience in the face of constant change and challenge.
  • Understand the implications of upstream and downstream results.  Work closely with others to overcome issues.
  • Exhibit teamwork and self management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Work overtime, flexible schedules and weekends as required.


  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
  • Must have at least 1 year of applicable work experience.
  • Strong sense of urgency & attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Warehousing and Materials Management processes.
  • Must possess a strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Desire to lead, mentor and develop others.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Able to influence others & manage conflict.
  • Ability to self-direct and take constructive action in ambiguous situations.
  • Extremely high standards of excellence.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8-10 hours with regular breaks.)
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position including the requirements to lift and carry 50 pounds and work under and around conveyors.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Experience with Lean/5S concepts.
  • Intralox Equipment product knowledge.
  • Previous experience with Oracle operating system.
