Intralox, L.L.C. has an exciting opportunity for a Material Distribution Group Lead within our state-of-the-art injection molding facility. This facility is a 24/7 manufacturing operation utilizing injection molding machines to produce components used in the manufacture of plastic modular conveyor belts. The qualified candidate would be responsible for monitoring the performance of the group, maintaining and improving equipment, ensuring quality of material and services, and assisting in the development of an overall high performance team.

  • Adhere to production schedule and ensure regrind material is available for production runs
  • Document issues and improvement opportunities 
  • Ensure high quality standards for Material Distribution Group 
  • Participate in meetings as MDG representative as required 
  • Audit safety and housekeeping procedures 
  • Assist in development and training of MDG team members 
  • Ensure accurate receiving, storing and distribution of raw material and regrind 
  • Ensure quality of incoming and outgoing material 
  • Monitor transactions of product movement and ensure accuracy 
  • Diagnostics of basic technical issues on regrind equipment 
  • Report and document procedures, issues, and daily summaries 
  • Complete all aspects of shipping request accurately 
  • Schedule weekly PM’s on equipment 
  • Lead LEAN improvement projects 
  • Identify, develop, and implement new procedures to improve the quality of the material 
  • Work with other groups and outside vendors to develop best practices 



  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Must be able to operate/diagnose Regrind equipment 
  • Demonstrated problem solving and issue resolution skills 
  • Stable work history preferably in a manufacturing environment 
  • Highly motivated team player possessing a continuous improvement mindset and a positive attitude 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills both oral and written 
  • PC skills for email and MS Office applications 
  • Forklift/Pallet jack experience 
  • Ability to work core M-F (7:00a.m.- 3:30p.m) schedule with periodic schedule adjustments that may include nights/weekends  
  • Ability to perform essential job requirements as set forth in the WorkSaver Functional
  • Job Description for the plastics technical group: 
    • Lift 56 pounds safely, 
    • Stand and walk continuously while checking machinery, 
    • Obtain safe postures during lifting, lowering, reaching, pushing, pulling and carrying while working in awkward positions, 
    • Sufficient flexibility to safely climb onto machines, climb stairs, bend at the waist when picking up inserts and other tools, 
    • Ability to perform frequent endurance tasks expending 5.6-7.5METS. 
    • Must be able to complete and pass a physical examination. 


 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Specific Regrind experience 
  • Intralox systems knowledge 
    • Familiarity Plastics Production Scheduling 
    • Oracle Inventory Management Module experience 
    • Transaction and audit trail analysis 
  • Previous team leader experience 
  • Previous safety training 
  • Understanding of 5S/LEAN concepts 
  • Forklift certification
