Intralox, LLC has an opening for a Material Handler to work on the night shift in the ThermoDrive Manufacturing Department based in Twinsburg, OH. The Material Handler will be responsible for moving raw materials and finished goods to designated areas as well as operation of the material grinders. This position reports to the ThermoDrive Manufacturing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Separate/sort plastic sheets
  • Box, label and weigh inventory
  • Follow grinding schedule
  • Load material into grinder and grind into pellet form to be used for reprocessing into sheet form
  • Tear down/break down/clean grinding machine
  • Stage material for upcoming jobs
  • Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.
  • Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Forklift driving experience
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to retain information
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Proficient at basic math.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Able to communicate clearly with co-workers
  • Able to lift up to 50#
  • Able to use hand tools such as hammers, circular saw, table saw, band saw and nail gun
  • Able to multitask and self-organize
  • Must have worked in a general warehouse setting
  • Follow written safety procedures
  • Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.
  • Regular and punctual attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

          High School Diploma/GED minimum
