Intralox's Global Marketing Operations Manager is looking for an experienced Traffic Manager to join the team. The successful candidate is the central contact point for all project work that flows through the marketing department, collaborating with Project Managers to track all projects from kickoff to final asset delivery. The Traffic Manager ensures projects flow efficiently through the project manager, creative and digital teams, and external partners based on the business requirements.  The right candidate can manage a wide variety of requests with competing deadlines and limited resources. It’s critical they have a deep understanding of department capacity needs, can track bottlenecks, and mitigate accordingly.
As needed, the Traffic Manager will work with the Marketing Strategists (our internal customers) to adjust deadlines while still meeting the commercial teams’ needs.

What will you do?
  • Distribute assignments to project managers creative, and digital teams depending on their availability and priorities
  • Monitor projects and measure workload requirements of active projects against team assignments and work schedules to ensure the best possible utilization of capacity among the team while the workload is evenly maintained
  • Conduct ongoing meetings with project managers, production teams, and business stakeholders to discuss active or upcoming projects
  • Act as the primary contact for freelancers and contractors to ensure they have the resources necessary for their jobs and meet Intralox marketing department expectations
  • Own the project management tools: Ignite and Smartsheet
  • Maintain, adjust, and implement standard production schedules, processes, and procedures
  • Institute and deliver traffic reports 
  • Identify potential capacity issues, outline risks, and propose solutions
  • Act as the mediator between stakeholders (business and marketing leads) to establish and re-evaluate priorities as needed
  • Could be asked to manage mid-sized to large campaigns that include multiple deliverables, team members, project tasks, and budget

Who are you?
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree level in marketing or a related field
  • 4-5+ years career experience in a traffic management position in an agency or mid-size in-house marketing creative team
  • An understanding of digital marketing deliverables associated with website development, banners, social media, paid search, SEO, and others in general
  • Computer-literate with proficiency for project management tools and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiarity with planning software such as Ignite (inMotion), Smartsheet, or equivalent 
  • Able to stay focused in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating attention to detail
  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and well  
  • Know how to prioritize by the deadline and motivate resources 
  • Effective communication with people at all levels of an organization
  • Strong listening skills and creative problem solving—able to remove obstacles and resolve issues for team members 
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills 
  • Inquisitive—great at asking questions to get to the truth
  • Flexible and adaptable—able to quickly pivot when new information is learned 
  • Self-managed and a team player; open to new ideas to facilitate continuous improvement
  • PMP certification or relevant Project Manager experience is desired
