Intralox’s In-House Global Marketing Department is responsible for Intralox’s brand management and go-to-market activation strategy for direct and indirect marketing programs worldwide.  The Lead Designer leads visual design development from concept through execution (i.e. illustration, design, photography, final art) while assisting the Creative Director in the planning, development and execution of inspired, effective communication and marketing campaigns that drive commercial sales. This position is responsible for orchestrating projects and leading designers, freelancers, photographers, and external vendors through brand campaigns, digital development, and customer experiences. The Lead Designer also works collaboratively with copywriters, Marketing Communication Specialists, UX designers, Intralox graphic designers, and commercial team members.

  • Conceptualize and execute creative, branded marketing assets across multiple mediums and channels both traditional and digital
  • Translate commercial objectives into visually compelling and impactful designs based on strategy and marketing goals
  • Partner with Marketing Communication Specialists and production team members to ensure commercial objectives are met and drive design team to meet pre-determined metrics
  • Provide expertise in visual identity including layout, typography, and color
  • Provide design guidance and thoughtful critique to Intralox designers. Review and approve all visual designs and proofs
  • Lead design team projects through to completion: from concept to design to production
  • Present creative concepts, campaigns and projects to key stakeholders as needed. Clearly articulate design rationale
  • Maintain and improve upon creative and graphic standards, design guidelines and procedures
  • Communicate assertively and confidently with people at all levels of an organization 
  • Actively seek and provide feedback based on analytics and commercial team responses
  • Stay abreast of evolving industry and emerging design trends in social, digital and user experience. Disseminate relevant information to team members and cross-team members as needed


  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating examples applicable to integrated campaigns. Include a link to your online portfolio in your resume. Applications submitted without a link to an online portfolio will not be considered
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of experience as a creative in marketing, advertising design
  • 2+ years of experience in an art direction or equivalent design leadership role
  • B2B experience a must, global experience a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building branded experiences and campaigns across digital and traditional communications
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with commercial team members, direct reports, colleagues and external vendors
  • Excellent communication, pitch, and presentation skills
  • Ability to provide creative critique and support creative strategy
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Is proactive and has a passion for continuous improvement
