Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Equipment Manufacturing Training Manager, the Manufacturing Training Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing training content, both online and instructor-led, to support the business needs of the Assembly, Materials Management, and Shipping operations.
- Develop and conduct on-boarding training for Assembly, Materials Management, and Shipping.
- Design and develop training content including instructor lead and eLearning.
- Create job aids, quick reference guides, and classroom support materials for self-directed learning with support from Subject Matter Experts.
- Create e-learning content in SCORM format for upload to LMS.
- Execute strategy for communicating and training on process updates and changes.
- Track training completion and conduct cross-training as needed.
- Maintain training matrix using work instructions and process instructions from engineering.
- Facilitate select Environmental Health and Safety training
- Provide reports from LMS to EHS and Operations as needed.
- Develop training videos.
- Work with the Operations team to support hands-on training.
Position Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree in instructional design, learning and development, education, digital design, communications, or related field.
- At least two (2) years of related experience in training content design and facilitation.
- Experience developing and conducting training.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office.
- Self-managed with strong attention to detail.
- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
- Willing to learn operations processes including assembly and warehouse management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Requirements:
- At least two (2) or more years training experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning and development, education, digital design, communications, or related field.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering learning products in a business setting.
- Experience in maintaining a training library or LMS system.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.
Salary Range: $51,800 to $119,600
