As the volume of manufacturing has increased at the North American equipment production facility, the need for a dedicated team of engineers to support production has arose.  This team utilizes a variety of skill sets, development methodologies, and functional knowledge to accelerate the efficiency and scale of equipment production. This position is located in the Hanover, MD office. 

Intralox Mechanical Engineers develop, design and supervise the fabrication & assembly of equipment that solve complex conveyance challenges. The engineer will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, be familiar with a variety of industrial machine design concepts and performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong mechanical and analytical abilities 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A self-managed individual who is a team player
  • Located in Maryland and work primarily at production facility
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing
  • Proficient with creating detailed part, weldment and installation drawings
  • An understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
  • Computer proficiency in MS office
  • Travel required (5%) for equipment installation, start-up or troubleshooting, and various training opportunities
  • Willingness to work with tools in an industrial environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory management, lean practices, and manufacturing methodologies
  • Experience with sheet metal design
  • Experience with Electro-mechanical design
  • Experience with Oracle ERP software
  • Experience with PLM and PDM software
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Hands on experience with Electro-Mechanical Assembly
  • Six Sigma or Toyota Production System experience
