Intralox is seeking a Trainer to lead the delivery of instructor-led training for our customers. This role sits on a new and expanding global Customer Training team that aims to delight our customers with training that amplifies customer value. The right individual is mechanically inclined and passionate about instructional delivery that is informative, sticky, and fun. This person will provide instruction at both customer and Intralox facilities and ensure maintenance employees can use, maintain, and troubleshoot our equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor to our growing program as we build a robust educational service for our customers that solves their most critical conveyance needs. This role is part of the dynamic and fast-growing Logistics and Material Handling Business Unit and reports to the Customer Training Program Manager. It is based remotely in the US.

  • Deliver highly effective instructor-led blended training to customers and/or Intralox field technicians who support our customers; training methods include classroom training, virtual online training, and on-site at customer.
  • Support the development and refinement of technical training content, including classroom presentations, hands-on exercises, digital training, and materials
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training through learner feedback and knowledge/skill demonstration; drive continuous improvement in our training delivery
  • Translate business needs to training requirements by assessing product/process audits, performance metrics, maintenance and troubleshooting data, and account strategies
  • Support the development and delivery of train-the-trainer programs
  • Contribute to the Intralox Customer Training program by creating/simplifying tools, sharing across our team, and developing best practices with designers and instructors that optimizes instruction


  • 5+ years of experience in teaching, instructional delivery, and/or training
  • Mechanical engineering degree, work experience, or relevant aptitude
  • Working knowledge of engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor)
  • Skilled at conveying technical concepts and ideas simply and clearly
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including presenting, listening, questioning, and pacing
  • Customer service mindset with a drive to delight customer with a strong training experience
  • Confident, resilient, flexible, proactive, and self-managed
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills
  • Open to feedback, with proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Willingness to travel to meet customer training schedule, including occasional weekends
  • Ability to carry 50lbs of equipment to customer site for training
  • Ability to give training at height (e.g., bulk sorters suspended from ceiling)
