Intralox has an opening for an Installation Coordinator to work on Intralox's Conditioning Platform.  This position pertains to providing controls and mechanical consulting support for various technologies operating across many industries. A wide degree of self-management, creativity, and latitude is expected in day-to-day work.

The position will be home office based in Western Europe.
 
What Will You Do?

  • Mechanical system implementation
  • Support the development and roll-out of new technologies
  • Assist with all pre-sale and after-sale activities including but not limited to evaluating project inquiries on a technical level, installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Initiate and/or attend design review meetings to discuss project existing conditions, recommended modifications for installation scope of work, and project planning (manpower recommendations and timeline estimates)
  • Manage/Assist project installations as the Intralox on-site representative. This includes but is not limited to project scheduling, training & supervision of contractors/vendors, and inventory management
  • Maintain project documentation including progress, project issues, changes to the scope of work, and final approvals
  • Lead/Assist on-site visits with customer/end-user to gather necessary project information
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed by site team

Who Are You?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree in technical field of study (engineering, mechanical, construction, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to understand Electrical & Mechanical Engineering concepts. Ability to take those concepts and apply them to real-world electromechanical challenges
  • Capable of employing HMI’s, motors, and variable frequency drives which are used in equipment
  • Ability to modify controls parameters
  • Ability to articulate mechanical & electrical concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 2 years of on-site project management experience
  • Demonstrated organizational & problem-solving skills related to project installation management
  • Maintain poise and focus under time constraint pressures
  • Experience in the use of hand & measuring tools
  • Ability to move around facilities and access job site equipment locations
  • Safely work for extended periods of time, mostly standing, well beyond an 8 hour workday 
  • Lift materials in excess of 25 kgs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60%, providing onsite support during weekends & holidays; as required by the customer and/or project schedules
