Intralox’s Global ITS Group is expanding and currently looking for a new member in IT Service and Support. In this role, you get positive energy out of successfully supporting our end users, so they can focus on delivering added value to our customers.

What will you be doing?
You provide technical break/fix support on-site and remote, to our global colleagues with a primary focus on the APAC region. No day is the same in the dynamic environment of Intralox. Together with other ITS colleagues you are mainly responsible for handling different incoming tickets, such as troubleshooting hard- and software issues to deep dive into finding the right solution, and fulfillment of requests. The satisfaction and praise you get when you successfully support our end users, make you feel excited about your job. Furthermore, you are responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and other relevant IT administrative tasks. You will have the opportunity to travel in- and outside the APAC region to visit other sites.

You will work out of our Melbourne office and report to the EMEA/APAC Service & Support Supervisor.

Responsibilities:  
  • Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency for our broad and diverse end-user base.
  • Investigation, documentation, and resolution of break/fix issues, including (but not limited to) applications, OS, network, and hardware. 
  • Maintaining effective communication between business users and other global IT members throughout the course of incident, problem and request fulfillment.
  • Providing project support, including (but not limited to) testing, documentation, and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Maintaining regional vendor relationships
  • Providing local facility and office support as needed.
Requirements:  
  • Diploma or higher degree in Information Technology or at least 3 years of work experience in the same role.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned work according to business needs and priorities.
  • Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Self-managed; ability to work well alone and in a global team environment. 
  • Strong analytical and technical skills: ability to perform root cause analysis. 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills  
  • In possession of a valid driver's license
