Intralox EMEA is expanding their Global IT Security Operations Team and we actively working to hire a Cyber Security System Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to enter the exciting career path of cyber security. Your main responsibilities will include cyber/information security system monitoring, initial incident response, security event triage and tracking, and assisting the IT Security Team with various projects and initiatives.  

Preferred locations for this role are either at our Amsterdam or Wehl plants, in the Netherlands, or our Kingswinford plant in the UK.

What will you do?

  • Utilize a variety of security tools, including SecureWorks Taegis XDR, Microsoft Defender ATP and Rapid7's Insight VM to monitor and investigate cyber/information security events and incidents 
  • Review cyber/information security news and stay current on security threats and trends
  • Help identify threats to the environment.
  • Regularly monitor and maintain systems that manage security
  • Investigation of cyber/information security events and incidents
  • Stay informed of current cyber/information security news and trends.
  • Assist the IT Security Team with long range planning and development of information technology security strategies, systems, architecture, and policies
  • Assist with propagating, maintaining, and measuring compliance against security policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Participate in projects to address cyber/information security risks and vulnerabilities
  • International travel opportunities as business needs require


Who are you? 

  • Bachelor Degree qualification is preferred, in a technical or business discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting Information Technology systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including creating system and procedural documentation
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work according to business need
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Self-managed and work well in a team environment
  • Previous experience as a Network/System Administrator or current Security Certification recommended
