Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a remote IT Project Manager in our Digital Solutions (DS) group.  This role reports directly to Intralox’s Commercial Business Relationship Manager (BRM). The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of projects related to Commercial applications (including our Customer Experience Portal and Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems) across project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Performance/Monitoring, and Closure. 

The Project Manager would work in a key project leadership role and will have project leadership responsibility and accountability for the successful execution and outcome of our key strategic Microsoft Dynamics & internal software projects. This role will manage and track all tasks and deliverables throughout the project life cycle, working closely with our IT/DS team, business sponsors, and stakeholders.

  • Support the Commercial Business Relationship Manager (BRM) – Clarify, sequence, and provide strategic vision for key business initiatives/projects on our DS Roadmap 
  • Initiate, plan and execute Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or related application implementation projects leveraging both internal resources and external vendor partners
  • Develop and manage detailed project documentation to monitor and track progress including Project Charter, Project Plan and Schedule, Project Status reports, Steering Committee Status presentations, Issues and Risk Log, Testing Cycles, Training Materials, etc.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and Issues
  • Define project tasks, deliverables, and project resources (including management of product backlog items in partnership with Product Owners)
  • On-Board and manage project team members, as well as Stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Manage project budget as applicable
  • Create and own the detailed project schedule and project timeline in a timely manner
  • Manage project change orders through change control process
  • Lead quality assurance on the project
  • Monitor the status of the project on a continual bases and reporting progress to team and stakeholders
  • Complete, lead and/or manage key project milestones/task such as:
    • Project Requirements gathering workshops, Fit-Gap analysis sessions (with BAs), To-Be Process Flow development, Proof of Concepts (POC) sessions, and Functional and technical specification development
    • Tests & Training cycle management: including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and global User Training sessions
    • Cutover planning sessions and cutover tasks including knowledge transfer and transition of project to long term managed support
  • Present Steering Committee reports on progress, problem escalation, key decisions
  • Implement and manage organizational change management (OCM)
  • Evaluate and assess results of project (Post-Mortem)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science
  • Proven IT track record with 10 years in technology and management roles
  • At least 5 years of experience leading Cloud CRM projects (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)
  • Proven knowledge of Dynamics 365 applications/modules
  • Experience and expertise of SDLC waterfall phases/implementation concepts & Agile project management methodologies
  • Principled thinking with focus on simplification and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with IT/DS and business team members
  • Strong management and leadership capability
  • Experience working with business systems consultants/cloud implementation partners
  • Experience leading diverse teams, including members from global business departments and vendors
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
  • Experience deploying products in a multi-national, multi-division company is a plus
