Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for an IT Oracle ERP Project Manager in our Digital Solutions (DS) group.  This role reports directly to Intralox’s Business Relationship Manager (BRM) - Equipment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all aspects of projects related to Oracle ERP applications and associated systems implementation including Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Performance/Monitoring, and Closure. 

The IT Oracle ERP Project Manager would work in a key project leadership role and will have responsibility and accountability for the successful execution and outcome of our key strategic Oracle projects. This role will manage and track all tasks and deliverables throughout the project life cycle, working closely with our IT/DS team, business sponsors, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will also provide project leadership and guidance to the core project team. 

This is a pivotal continuous improvement role in our organization to help our company leverage the power of Oracle to ensure we are exploiting the full power of Oracle EBS modules through critical projects. The Project Manager is expected to learn and understand our current operations, processes, and future opportunities in order to achieve project success by delivering business value.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) – Equipment to clarify, sequence, and provide strategic vision for the key business initiatives/projects on our DS Roadmap 
  • Initiate, plan and execute Oracle ERP and/or related application implementation projects
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Create and manage project documentation including Project Charter, RACI, Project Plan and Schedule, Project Status reports, Steering Committee Status presentations, Issues and Risk Log, Testing Cycles, Training, etc.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and Issues
  • Define project tasks, deliverables, and project resources
  • On-Board and manage project team members
  • Manage Stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Manage project budget as applicable
  • Create and manage the project WBS
  • Create and own the detailed project schedule and project timeline
  • Ensure timely and quality completion of all project tasks and deliverables
  • Support, guide, motivate, and direct the project team
  • Manage project change orders through change control process
  • Lead quality assurance on the project
  • Monitor the status of the project on a continual bases and reporting progress to team and stakeholders
  • Complete, lead and/or manage key project milestones/task such as:
    • Project Requirements gathering workshops
    • Fit-Gap analysis sessions (with BAs)
    • To-Be Process Flow development
    • Proof of Concepts (POC) and Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions
    • Functional and technical specification development
    • Tests cycles, including unit testing, string testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Manage User Training sessions
    • Cutover planning sessions and cutover tasks
    • Transition project to long term delivery and support, including Knowledge Transfer
  • Present Steering Committee reports on progress, problem escalation, key decisions
  • Implement and manage organizational change management (OCM)
  • Evaluate and assess results of project (Post-Mortem)


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science
  • Proven IT track record with ideally 10 years in technology and management roles
  • At least 5-10 years of experience leading Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud projects using Oracle AIM, OUM, or equivalent implementation methodologies
  • Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
  • Proven knowledge and skillset in Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud applications/modules
  • Experience and expertise of SDLC waterfall phases/implementation concepts
  • Principled thinking with eye towards simplification and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with IT/DS and business team members
  • Strong management and leadership capability
  • Experience working with business systems consultants/staff augmentation providers
  • Experience leading diverse teams, including members from global business departments and vendors
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in MS Project / Project Management Software
  • PMP (PMI) certification preferred
