Intralox, a division of Laitram LLC, is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its team in our Hanover, MD office. The qualified individual will work closely with other members of the HR team supporting the overall mission and growth of the company. This position will help shape behaviors, skills, and success by driving the understanding and execution of our continuous improvement philosophies (business philosophies) along with defining a coordinated people strategy for the division. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, have superior organization, interpersonal and communication skills, be self-managed, and act with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

 Responsibilities:

·         Act as a culture steward and model the values and principles of the organization. 

·         Build credibility and trust with the workforce and leaders to counsel leaders and be an encouraging advisor for employees. 

·         Understand, develop, apply, and coach employees on our culture. 

·         Keep a pulse on the organization through measurement and monitoring of the needs of employees and the managers through leadership surveys, employee feedback sessions, exit interviews, and one-on-one employee discussions. 

·         Ensure employees connect with how they create value for the company - identify talent gaps that are obstacles and coach supervisors on the development of gap closure plans 

·         Provide strategic guidance to leaders in areas of change management and employee development.  

·         Engage with business leaders on people strategy and how to effectively deliver talent management and organization design and structure. 

·         Assist leaders in effectively communicating to the workforce to promote employee engagement and information sharing. 

·         Partner with the larger HR team to improve our talent position – selection, attraction, and retention. 

·         Manage the resolution of disputes and complaints in partnership with company leadership, the Employee Relations Specialist, and Corporate Counsel. 

·         Partner with the Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment with the people strategy and flawless partnership and delivery to key stakeholders. 

·         Partner with the Learning & Development Specialist to ensure development opportunities are available across all levels of the organization. 

·         Provide organizational development support; work with business teams and functions to understand current and future business goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiative.

Requirements: 

·         Min 5 years of related experience 

·         Bachelor Degree in a related field of study 

Preferred: 

·         Experience in organizational design 

·         Experience in employee engagement 

·         Experience in employee development 

·         Experience in architecting or managing the employee or customer experience
