In this role you will manage specific (global) accounts in the container (beverage and food cans) packages segment which is part of Intralox’s Global Industrial Business Unit. You will be a member of the Intralox Container Leadership team and ideally be based out of Europe, working from a home office.

What will you do?
  • Create, own and implement strategic Account Plans for, and in conjunction with, key customers in the Container (Beverage & Food Can making) industry
  • Identify sales opportunities; articulate and document company resources needed to bring sales to closure
  • Continuously drive account and industry analysis and work closely together with the Business Development Analyst as well as the Global Commercial Container Team  to strengthen our value proposition to our customers
  • Build and maintain (Level 4) relationships with senior executives and key decision makers at key account
  • Structure creative business packages (technology and services) that tie Intralox’s best strengths and value propositions with solutions to the customers most critical needs
  • Organize regular reviews (both internal and external) of account progress and redirect resources and strategy when necessary
  • Present Intralox management and peers with facts about customers and provide an accurate picture of the market so that an effective strategy can be built, and decisions be made
  • Push to drive business and to help grow the team to into higher level consultants
  • Attend industry events at a global scale 
  • Seamlessly integrate virtual/ online tools with commercial “in person” efforts

Who are you?
  • MSc or MA degree qualification from an accredited University. A  degree in engineering combined with business education is preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of solid sales experience in a B2B environment. Knowledge and experience within the factory automation or packaging industry is preferred
  • Proven track record in large account management; experience in project management is a plus.
  • Experienced in calling on decision-makers at plant and corporate level
  • Demonstrate strong commercial and analytical skills and you are an objective critical thinker
  • Well-structured and organized 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Other European languages are a plus
  • Show willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (50%+)
  • Possess a confident outlook along with an entrepreneurial, problem-solving mindset
  • Self-managed, excellent communicator and team player capable of simplifying complex scenarios
  • Technology savvy and able to make use of online/ virtual tools seamlessly in your commercial efforts
