Intralox’s Global Marketing team is seeking a high-performing Front-end Developer. The best candidate collaborates successfully with product owner, developer, content strategist, designer, and project manager roles to complete technical implementation of creative concepts in keeping with the established branding. This position will develop and maintain intralox.com, hydrolox.com, and commercialfoodsanitation.com, ensuring the delivery of the best customer experience on each site.

Responsibilities: 
  • Build interfaces from visual designs and wireframes that are responsive, accessible, and performant across all types of devices 
  • Contribute to and maintain the UI component library used by teams across the company  
  • Work with members of the creative and web teams to accurately estimate projects and develop technical solutions for marketing initiatives 
  • Integrate interfaces with our content management system so non-technical editors can edit and create new pages 
  • Implement web performance optimizations and ensure the website conforms to accessibility standards 
  • Keep up with best practices and make recommendations to continually improve the website and ensure it provides an optimal experience for our customers 

Requirements: 
Online portfolio of relevant work or links to websites with description of contributions will be required 
  • Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as accessibility standards and SEO best practices 
  • Three or more years of experience working on content-driven websites 
  • Well-versed with performance and UX-optimizations across mobile and desktop devices 
  • Professional experience with at least one JavaScript framework, such as React or Vue (we use React) 
  • Experience working with a component library like React Aria, shadcn, or Radix  
  • Experience working with APIs (REST or GraphQL) 
  • Professional experience with at least one website framework like Gatsby, Astro, or Remix 
  • Familiarity with Typescript preferred 
  • Comfortable contributing to a shared repository using Git, pull requests, and issue tracking 
  • Experience working on multi-language websites preferred 
  • Position will be primarily remote if the candidate is local to New Orleans
