Intralox has openings for 3 Field Service Engineers for Illinois (Chicago area), Texas (Dallas or Houston areas) and Florida territories to work on the rapidly growing Integration Team.  These positions will provide support to controls and some mechanical consulting support for various technologies in the package handling world. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in day to day work. 

You will be part of a newly established service group called Life Cycle Services, where we focus on providing technical support to our end-users (UPS, Amazon, USPS etc) so their lines are operating at optimal levels. We will give you a thorough training at our own facilities as well as coaching you in an "on the job" training environment. 

We provide industry leading technical solutions for package handling and job tasks will include installation, fine tuning, training and fault finding on the electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Reactive support to customer needs
  • Installation support, commissioning and training of sorting lines
  • Electrical control system implementation for our Integration team.
  • Assisting with all after-sale activities including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Part of phone support team
  • Interface with the implementation team to ensure successful field execution:
  • Promotion of the highest quality and workmanship standards;
  • Pro-actively work to establish and maintain global implementation standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering/technology discipline from accredited school
  • Ability to understand Master’s-level Electrical & Mechanical Engineering concepts.  Ability to take those concepts and apply them to real world electro-mechanical challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
  • Programming experience – 2+  years related experience preferred
  • Proficient in configuring PLC’s, HMI’s, computers, networks, cameras and variable frequency drives 
  • Work in a team environment; acceptance of established standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Inspires trust and relates well to people of varying roles and levels

The job requires up to 70% travel.
