We are currently searching for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our Equipment Manufacturing Quality Team. As the SQE, you will partner with Supply Chine, Engineering, and Production teams to drive excellent performance and improved productivity from our suppliers. The APAC quality team is relatively new, so there will be a lot of focus on developing the department and bringing quality to the next level. You will be working together with our global quality team in the US and EMEA to develop and drive quality in the organization. Willingness to travel to suppliers and other Intralox plants in US &EMEA is therefore desired. The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership skills, great attention to detail with excellent technical, problem solving and analytical abilities. 
Responsibilities:
  • Liaison with global quality team for all quality topics in APAC. 
  • Performing supplier assessments & audits on new & existing suppliers. 
  • Driving supplier non-conformances/SCARs and working on supplier process improvements. 
  • Driving quality trend analysis and improvements. 
  • Implement & lead CAPA/CAR/SCARs in APAC. 
  • Implement part releases (PPAP) and ensure they are executed properly. 
  • Partner with the plant quality teams to improve quality processes & tools. 
  • Perform regular quality assessments & inspections of a given supplier's outgoing parts. 
  • Identify risks and drive mitigation plans for seamless operations. 
  • Perform a variety of tasks in support of short and long-term goals of the operations.

Desired qualifications:
  • Over 6-8 years of relevant working experience. 
  • Bachelor's or above degree, major in manufacturing or engineering. 
  • Good in English writing and speaking. 
  • Experience in an equipment engineer-to-order and assemble-to-order manufacturing environment. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management & proven ability to lead through influence. 
  • Experience in a low volume production environment is a plus. 
  • CAQ/CQMA/CQC or equivalent certification. 
  • Experience in implementing six-sigma concepts, SPC concepts is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of best practices the QA function in a Manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience with managing external/outsourced supplier quality (audits, CAR, etc).
  • Experience with problem solving and root cause analysis (CAPA,8D, etc.)
  • Ability to travel within China (and to US/EU occasionally).
