The Order Engineering EMEA team has an opening for an Engineering Manager. The candidate will be a key member in the global engineering space for Intralox's ARB equipment and will be responsible for leading and
managing a team of mechanical and electrical engineers.

The candidate will report to the Global Engineering Manager and work out of the Wehl office.

What will you do?

  • Develop a high-performance team in a fast-growing environment, with shared/aligned goals and consistent performance management practices.
  • Foster strong collaboration across departments and regions in the global engineering space.
  • Execute sound strategies to efficiently achieve company objectives of delivering reliable, on time, quality customer order releases
  • Develop every individual in the team to achieve their full potential. Provide ongoing feedback and coaching
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to improve products, reducing waste and increasing customer value.
  • Collaborate with our Production Control, Materials Management, Assembly, Testing and Quality Teams to provide accurate, on-time, and complete customer solutions.
  • Generate and implement strategies to increase productivity and improve efficiency within the team
  • Meeting business plan objectives and set performance standards and goals for the team
  • Promoting the Laitram Continuous Improvement culture

Who are you?
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a team as a team lead, supervisor, or manager
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in industrial mechanical design.
  • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, and organizational & planning abilities
  • Proven affinity with an industrial B2B environment
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of continuous improvement ideas
  • Some international travel will be required
