Intralox, L.L.C., seeks a creative engineer with a blend of both technical and commercial skills to apply innovative conveyance solutions to automated material handling systems. As the technical member of the equipment selling team, an Equipment Application Engineers seeks to further strengthen our customer relationships and bring them value through optimizing the customer's conveyor system layouts and processes by applying Intralox’s equipment and belting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build in-depth understanding of Intralox technology capabilities and value.
  • As a member of the equipment selling team, qualify opportunities and evaluate advantages of using Intralox Equipment in customer applications in comparison to competing technologies.
  • Develop innovative, high-value conveyor solutions and layout concepts.
  • Interpret customer specifications and make recommendations based on value and performance.
  • Evaluate and optimize ways to mitigate technical risk involved in a project.
  • Collaboration in innovating Intralox technologies and developing new applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar technical field.
  • Commercial affinity; customer oriented approach.
  • Analytical problem solver; practical and “hands-on”.
  • Proven capability of completing and documenting projects in an organized manner.
  • Contributor to a team environment.
  • Approx. 30% travel is required for project discovery and qualification, equipment/solution presentations, occasional equipment troubleshooting, and training.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with conveyance related systems.
  • Experience with electrical control systems.
