Intralox, LLC has an opening for a Technician to work in the ThermoDrive Engineering Department. This individual will be primarily responsible for the assembly and testing of new equipment or other products developed by the engineering team.  Applicants must be highly motivated, self-managed, and have the ability to work both independently and in a performance-driven team environment on multiple projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a project team consisting of a Project Manager, Machine Design Engineers, Controls Engineers, Technicians, and Technical Writers to develop robust solutions for Global Manufacturing 
  • Operate testing equipment found in a typical materials laboratory
  • Track incoming parts, inspect for quality conformance, build subassemblies and final assemblies
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products
  • Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes
  • Participate in group design reviews 
  • Develop and conduct training for Production and Maintenance personnel
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Direct mechanical trade experience (Machinist, HVAC, Mechanic, Construction, Furniture or Cabinet Making, etc)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Must have demonstrated aptitude for creative problem solving and innovation 
  • Self-managed and organized 
  • Confident and clear communicator (both written and verbal) 
  • Great attitude and excellent team player 
  • Microsoft Office expertise 
  • ~5-10% domestic / international travel
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Solidworks or other modeling software
  • New product development experience
