Responsibilities:
- Support, develop and promote modular plastic belt through application specific testing.
- Achieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Intralox product line.
- Testing and set-up for customer visits ·Support Account Managers in the selling and implementation of conveyance solutions.
- Generate reports reflecting significant test results and methodology.
- Provide 2D/3D design support to sales teams for design of new test equipment and products for test/prototype applications.
- Maintenance of database of historical documentation of testing results.
- Supporting the Tradeshow Team with equipment set-up and testing (travel is required)
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Goal oriented team player with a positive& proactive attitude, with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Hands on technical skills; tools, machinery, fasteners, etc.
- Equipment set up experience is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills with some exposure to modeling programs (Solidworks).
- Travel required up to 10% of the time and weekend work when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and with internal and external customers, including management, engineers, and plant personnel.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and interest – ability to research, understand, and communicate concepts associated with a given technology.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and resources.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely, and work standing for an extended period in an unconditioned warehouse.
