Intralox L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to perform subassembly, final assembly and troubleshooting of industrial conveyor equipment. This position will be located in our office in Hanover, MD.

  • Assemble electrical equipment following blueprint and assembly procedures

  • Assemble sheet metal equipment

  • Install electrical raceway

  • Fabricate small bracket, guards, etc.

  • Assemble conveyor equipment for testing

  • Document/record transactions in ERP system

  • Apply established standards, processes and procedures to ensure workplace safety

  • Apply established standards, processes and procedures to ensure quality

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area

  • Perform housekeeping duties as required

  • Exhibit teamwork and self - management

  • Follow the attendance policy of the Department

  • Work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays, and weekends as required


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems

  • Knowledgeable with use of hand tools

  • Able to safely work for extended periods of time, mostly standing, well beyond an 8-hour workday, lift materials up to 25 pounds

  • Must be a “self-managed” team player comfortable working in a fast - paced environment

  • Must have stable work history

  • Must have strong attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

  • Qualified forklift certification

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a lean assembling environment.

  • Familiar with conveyor line applications.
