Intralox, L.L.C.  located in Hanover, MD is looking for a new Test Engineer on our Development team. The Hanover location is headquarters to our innovation in conveyance equipment and supports product releases to our global customers. The development team is responsible for all phases of innovation from ideation to full product release. To achieve this the test engineer is responsible for validating all theoretical performance parameters as well as equipment robustness and durability. It is the responsibility of the engineer to develop a multifaceted test plan that is efficient and thorough and to provide documented data to the engineering team so that the equipment can be properly utilized in our customer’s plants for years to come.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, develop and promote modular plastic belt through application specific testing.
  • Achieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Intralox product line.
  • Generate reports reflecting significant test results and methodology.
  • Provide 2D/3D design support to design engineer team for design of new test equipment and products for test/prototype applications.
  • Maintenance of database of historical documentation of testing results.
  • Create and execute a thorough test plan and document all results in a clear and organized method which can be shared with and comprehended by all team members from engineers to account managers
  • Support Account Managers and Application Engineers in the selling and implementation of conveyors

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in mechanical or testing engineering.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, Proactive attitude, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with hand tools.
  • Goal oriented team player.
  • Excellent computer skills with some exposure to 3D CAD (Inventor preferred)
  • Travel may be required up to 10-20% of the time and weekend work when needed
