We are seeking data analyst who will help with the analytical needs of our Quality team.   This requires an individual who is a self- starter, a critical thinker, a fast learner, and a problem solver, and who brings superior communication and interpersonal skills.

This position will report to the Quality Manager and will be based in New Orleans, LA.

Requirements:

  • Business, Engineering or Computer Science Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Data Functions Required; VBA Preferred
  • Power BI and/or Power Query Experience Preferred
  • Experience with ERP, specifically Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Preferred
  • Understanding of database design and relational models
  • Adapt at data mining, data validation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in data
  • Experience visualizing data to communicate information in way that is easy to understand
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be extremely organized, detail oriented with a high attention to accuracy
  • Principled thinking with eye towards simplification and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; works well in a team environment
  • Self-Starter – does not need to be told what to do once expectations are set

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update data systems and data tables
  • Work with Manufacturing and Quality Analyst teams to refine and report on operating metrics
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of Quality Software & Tools
  • Assist with the department’s transition to BI Reporting Models
  • Draft and present department update presentations
  • Project/LCI data analysis support
