Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in conveyor equipment solutions utilizing modular plastic conveyor belts, has a position available for a Controls Supervisor in a newly formed Life Cycle Services team in our Hanover, Maryland office. 

The Life Cycle Services team is focusing on support for the Intralox provided installed base in postal and material handling solutions. We work closely with customers to monitor and determine their needs throughout the equipment life cycle. With the highest Overall Equipment Efficient in mind can the optimal support consist of any type of Re-Active and Pro-Active Services, Equipment upgrades, Parts support or Training.

The Controls Supervisor will have a solid experience and a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, which enables him to help trouble shoot customers over the phone or mentor and guide our traveling Field Service technicians on-site. He will work towards the highest possible degree of pro-activity by promoting technical solutions that enables remote sensing and data collection.

  • Lead group of Field Service Controls engineers in Life Cycle Services
  • Re-active support to customers equipment issues
  • Establish and promote pro-active products that ensures line OEE being secured with end users


ยท    B.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in working with the controls side of Material Handling equipment
  • Established and documented track record of leadership
  • Outstanding people skills with ability to communicate at all levels
  • Willingness to partake in phone support and to travel
  • Ability to understand advanced Electrical & Mechanical Engineering concepts.
  • Ability to always keep end in mind
  • Ability to see opportunities in customer complaints
  • Significant programming background
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office package
  • Experience in supervising employees, setting direction, reviewing projects, and implementing processes.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Expertise in industrial control circuit design, particularly equipment interface practices
  • Proficient Electrical Engineering capabilities: Designing, Engineering, Drawing, Building & Testing
  • Experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Experience in sortation systems
