Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services has an opening for a CNC Router Operator to work in the ThermoDrive Department.  This individual would be primarily responsible for programming and operating a CNC router.  Applicants must be highly motivated, self-managed, and have the ability to work both independently and in a performance-driven team environment.  This will be a 2nd shift position that may require some overtime work.

Responsibilities

  • Make necessary adjustments to machine code, work holding, offsets, and tooling to maintain nominal print dimensions and required surface finishes.
  • Manually load/unload stock into work holding devices and monitors the machining process.
  • Performs visual and physical inspection of parts produced per ThermoDrive Quality Management System.
  • Performs accurate transactions (entering quantities, closing out operation when done, filling in appropriate paperwork).
  • Cleans equipment and keeps work area clean and organized. 
  • Perform odd jobs and fill-in work as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient using inspection tooling (i.e., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to accurately measure part features.
  • Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, working with fractions)
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills
  • Must be self-managed / team player
  • Previous manufacturing experience desired
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Capable of operating a forklift
  • Willing to work overtime and on weekends as required
  • Is flexible and responsive to changing demands.
  • Must be able to meet the functional requirements of the job including the ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend/lean over and lift 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of G and M codes
  • Experience using CAM software
  • Experience with GD&T
