CNC Plasma Operator
Lapeyre Stair has a position available for a CNC Plasma Operator at our Harahan location.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a CNC plasma cutter and other related machinery
- Manage inventories associated with plasma
- Load/unload material in and out of plasma cutting area using an overhead crane
- Manage work orders in Epicor
- Inform lead/supervisor of delays in production
- Work overtime as needed
- Maintain a clean orderly and safe workplace
- It is essential that this position is performed at the facility.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Strong mechanical inclination
- Able to excel in a team-oriented work setting
- Computer skills and the ability to learn job specific software
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 65 lbs
Desired qualifications:
- Able to operate a forklift
- Able to operate an overhead crane
- Machine operator experience
