Intralox Baltimore (IBA) is experiencing rapid growth in its Spares business and is seeking a highly motivated and self-managed person to serve as Buyer - Spares in its Supply Chain Department.  This position will support the management of purchasing transactions for equipment production and non-production items. The position is based in our Hanover, MD facility and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Support the management of Spares purchasing transactions, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders, for equipment production and non-production items.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Suppliers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide pricing for spare part kit project proposals.
  • Prepare equipment bill of materials by obtaining quotes and uploading items into Oracle. 
  • Supports Supply Chain Analyst in executing data analysis to help support supply chain strategies and initiatives.
  • Engage with Customer Service, Supplier and Engineering to provide pricing for After-Sale Spare Parts quotes and to execute After-Sale Spare parts.


  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Minimum 3 years procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be a self-managed, hard-working, self-motivated individual.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or Business
  • Previous experience with Oracle preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPIM Certification
