Laitram Machinery, Inc has an opening for a Business Development Analysist on its Sales/Commercial Team. As a member of this team, the qualified individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company customer base, brand presence and support team learning in pursuit of growing the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic, competitive and industry analysis across multiple markets, applications, and selling channels.

• New application testing

• Product Sample creation (pasteurizing and roasting Nuts)

• New market assessment, including industry analysis, building of account lists, understanding current process issues/needs, Laitram’s prospective value proposition, etc.

• Research around technical/commercial items related to Laitram equipment sales


• Bachelor’s in Business or related field or 2 years of business development and/or sales experience

• Microsoft Office fluency.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills – including strong phone skills

• Strong team player with outstanding interpersonal skills and situational awareness

• Ability to evaluate and effectively pursue strategic sales opportunities

• Strong organizational skills

• Up to 25% travel required
